Fourth of July.... It was His Favorite Holiday! :)

Yes- Happy 4th of July, everyone.


Bear's favorite holiday was the 4th, and it brings tears to my eyes to know that he's not here with us.... but also peace and comfort to know that he is going to have a fantastic show in the most glorious and beautiful place. :)


I cannot believe that it's the 4th already! Not only was it his favorite holiday, but it's mine, as well.  There's just something so beautiful about celebrating our independence from the British!  It's also a reminder that my baptism is this weekend! July 9th. My dad's Celebration of Life is the 12th at the LDS Church- and it's going to be glorious! I can feel it.  I even get to sing! Yes- but I will leave that for a surprise, and for all those attending to see for themselves. ;)


This is the happiest I've been yet.  My dad wouldn't want me to mourn.  He expects tears every now and then, yes-- but he wouldn't want me to dwell on his passing.  I know that he's in a better place.  He knows that he is.  He is being taught glorious things in the most beautiful of places right before Heaven.  :) It's wonderful.
